For We Are Not Ignorant of His Devices

We don’t want to acknowledge the unseen dark world and then blame God for everything. He is in control. (Study Job).  One of the enemies greatest schemes is to keep us knowledgeable of the Word of God. The second scheme of the enemy is for us to not be led to the foot of the Cross and find out all that Jesus paid for us through his shed blood. The Bible says, “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices” 2nd Corinthians 2:11 NKJV.

I was ignorant of his devices for many years of my life. I want nothing more than for people to know we are in a battle and the battle is victorious, however, many stand in the trenches of the battle without surveillance and knowledge of our enemy or our adversary.

You must know who satan is and his evil schemes. All it takes is one thought entering your mind, into your heart then the thought manifesting into action.

It all starts with a thought to try your mental emotions piercing your heart this begins the entrapments and strongholds. This is where the enemy gets you. I spent eight years in the Marine Corps, training for physical warfare but what happens when we are experiencing spiritual warfare and we have no idea we are in the middle of the battlefield weary and worn down. After a Holy Spirit Baptism (See Acts 19:1-10), I began to take the Word of God seriously and received spiritual revelations. I began to study who my adversary was. When forward deployment is planned you must know who your enemy is. It would behoove us to study and know our enemy and not be ignorant of his devices.

For me, I want to know everything about my adversary especially when I spent most of my life not knowing who he was and many times he tried to destroy me.

James 1:5,14-15 NKJV
[5] If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. [14] But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. [15] Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

The Bible says the thief (satan- Lucifer a worship, fallen angel due to pride and rebellion against God) comes to steal, kill and then destroy. Let’s look at the definition of a thief;

a person who steals, especially secretly or without open force; one guilty of theft or larceny.

So his never-ending, unchanging ways. He starts with,

1. Steal – Wow! A thief does it secretly (Thoughts -Lies)
2. Kill – He will go for the kill (Entrapment)
3. Destroy – He will destroy any and all area of your life to a pit or death! (Strongholds – Sin)

His main objective is to keep you from the Cross and to find out your destiny!

However, when a thief is found he must be put in jail, locked up, stopped in his tracks, put to justice and finally pay back restitution. In addition, we are told very clearly in the Word of God how to put on our whole armor.

Ephesians 6:10-20 (NKJV)

The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

We’ve been called to be bold ambassadors as we ought to speak as the end-time army to take of the Spirit and get ready to move in unity on the battlefield and defeat the enemy against all his schemes foreign and domestic.

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely” Revelation 12:17 NKJV.
